Is DOE losing faith in carbon fiber tube trailers for shipping methane under Ultra-High-Pressure? (which they also funded the development of via grants)
This is really exotic tech:
DOE grants PSU $1M for research into a low-pressure, room temperature, solid-phase methane "Petrogel", for storage and transport.
